Pradeep brings to SmartPlay over 20 years of Semiconductor industry experience having executed, at all levels of responsibilities in design and development of ASIC products. Prior to SmartPlay, Pradeep was the VP of Engineering at Qualcomm, heading the India semiconductor division (Bangalore). Under his leadership, Qualcomm Bangalore Design Center developed as a strong center of excellence and delivered multiple products successfully. Pradeep Vajram, a key member of Spike Acquisition team helped to setup the Bangalore Design Centre (India) for Qualcomm.

Prior to joining QUALCOMM, Pradeep Co-founded Spike Technologies Inc., a leading global chip design services company and was responsible for Worldwide Engineering & Operations – US, India and Canada. He also held managerial and engineering positions with LSI Logic Corporation, Milpitas, CA.

Pradeep holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit (USA) and a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering from Karnataka University, (India).

Sanjay has over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry focused on processor and wireless product development. He has extensive experience in setting up new operations and managing engineering teams worldwide.

During his tenure at Sun Microsystems spanning over a decade, Sanjay was responsible for delivery of multiple generations of SPARC microprocessors starting with UltraSPARC-II to advanced multi-core SPARC. He was instrumental in setting up Sun's "India Engineering Center". He led and implemented COT model for alternate sourcing of UltraSparc microprocessors.

Subsequent to Sun Microsystems, Sanjay joined Texas Instruments, San Diego as Director of Engineering leading 3G modem technology development followed by a move to India to lead development of cellular modem and application processor products spanning from single-chip Ultra Low Cost (Baseband and RF) product, OMAP application processors, imaging/video co-processors and custom 3G baseband chips for Nokia. Most recently, he was the GM of Wireless Business Unit at TI driving product development and 3rd-party outsourcing strategy.

Sanjay graduated from Arizona State University with a Masters in Electrical Engineering and has an undergraduate degree in Electronics from Bangalore University, India.

Vijay possesses over 25 years of experience in the Finance, Legal and Secretarial fields in a range of industries covering Consulting, Manufacturing (FMCG and Engineering), Pharmaceuticals, Biotech and Information Technology.

Vijay’s rich experience spans across the areas of Corporate Finance, Accountancy, Taxation, Mergers/Acquisitions and Statutory Compliances. He has played key roles in Corporate and individual Tax planning and compliance, Banking and Treasury, Working Capital Management, implementation of processes and controls and structuring employee compensation benefits including retiral funds management. He has been responsible for General Administration and Procurement. On the Legal and Secretarial side, Vijay has been involved in commercial and legal negotiations with customers and vendors for contracts closure, apart from developing a framework to monitor legal compliances. He also has extensive experience with SEBI and Stock Exchange listing regulations applicable to a publicly traded company.

Prior to joining SmartPlay, Vijay spent 11+ years with Tata Elxsi where he held the role of CFO & Company Secretary and responsible for their global financial operations. His earlier assignments include stints with ITC Zeneca Ltd., VST Industries Ltd., Boehringer Knoll Ltd., etc.

Vijay is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is also a law graduate.

Ashutosh joins SmartPlay with 19+ years of technology and management experience. During his career he has held engineering, marketing/business development and executive-level roles at leading EDA companies - Synopsys, Cadence and Magma. He brings strong digital, analog and low power design expertise to SmartPlay. He holds five patents for his work in the area of low power design. He has extensive experience in rolling out EDA technologies and related services. 

Prior to SmartPlay, Ashutosh was Vice President at Magma and held global responsibility for introducing analog/mixed signal platform.

He holds a B.E. in electronics engineering from University of Bombay and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Arkansas.

Vijay Mohan co-founded TechForce, Inc. in 2004 and has over sixteen years of experience in Marketing, Business Development and Operations in the semiconductor design services, IT and multimedia industries across North America and India.

Prior to TechForce, Vijay was actively involved in the business development & marketing activities at Spike Technologies, Inc. – a leader in chip design services (acquired by Qualcomm). He was involved in account management for Fortune 500 client companies. He played a key role in formulating & implementation of marketing & media strategies at Spike. Prior to Spike, Vijay was the Regional Director – Sales & Marketing at Microhard and was heading the corporate training & networking divisions in India. He played a key role in the implementation of marketing and media plans for its worldwide channel partners. 
Vijay Mohan holds an MBA (International Marketing) from FSM - New Delhi.

Vinod has over 16 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Operations Excellence, Customer Relationship Management and Business Processes in the telecommunications, media and entertainment industries consulting to Fortune 500 companies across North America, Europe and India.

Prior to SmartPlay, Vinod was the consulting practice leader, India and South-East Asia, at Nortel Networks where he set up and ran the consulting practice out of Bangalore. Vinod in his earlier career was a Managing consultant and a Principal Consultant with Deloitte Consulting and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLC, premier management consulting firms, as well as IBM’s Business Consulting Services.

Vinod holds an MBA Business with concentration in Finance and Strategy from the University of Maryland’s R.H. Smith School of Business and a Bachelors’ in Electronics from B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bangalore University, India.

Krupakaran has over 30+ years of professional experience spanning Technology, Management, Administration and Operations. The last 12 years of his career has been in the Semiconductor Technology area.

Prior to SmartPlay, Krupakaran was the Director Engineering at Qualcomm India. He was the VP of Engineering at Spike Technologies (acquired by Qualcomm in 2004). He held key positions in Engineering Management and Business Operations Management at both these companies. Prior to venturing into the Corporate world, Krupakaran served as the Wing Commander in Indian Air Force.

Krupakaran holds an ME in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science and a BE from Madras University. In addition, Krupakaran also holds an MSc in Defense Management graduating from Defense Services Staff College, Wellington. He is also currently a Fellow of IETE.
